Almost a year ago, I started working on this project using the voice of David Lynch sampled from Twin Peaks as the only source for every sound. I used only Digitakt recorded live and straight through an A&H MixWizard. Mixed in Logic and mastered with T-rackS 6.
Without knowing of David Lynch’s health issues (as he was still reporting his legendary weather reports then), this album became my tribute to an artist that his work has inspired me the most. Not only his films but all his visual works, his “Art Life” philosophy and transcendental meditation practice.
I will always be grateful to him. He taught me how to be an artist. Which means to dive into the darkness of life with courage and a torch.
