Today I completed the upgrade of my MAMX1. I replaced the dropped out micro usb socket with a high-quality short wire with usb (connector from charging the iPhone). I soldered it all with my favorite “Cardas” solder. Made correct high quality cables with Amphenol connectors and Magami W3106 wire and also several patches from Canare L-2T2S wire. The result is an excellent mini mixer for summing the signals of Elektron and others devices. This little guy does a much better job than the old American Mackie 1202 (I don’t need EQ on the mixer).
I tested it: I connected my Digitone to monitors directly with high-quality cables (from the same components that I mentioned above) and then the same Digitone through a mixer => strange, but it sounds better with a mixer :-0
