Are they still made in Asheville USA?
I am not sure what exactly is still even in production, moog stuff is on back order a lot of places and some things like the Minitaur have not been available for 6 months+. I think if you really want one of the current offerings there is no time like the present lol.

For that price I can buy groceries for a month, or pay my utilities as well.

Warning to any 2022 reissue owners , avoid resting your synth on a rubberized stand stopper, the finish on mine seems to have reacted with my stand which has never had issues on any other wooden synths

I am happy with my Moog Sub 37 as it gets me close at way less cost.

Ow. Sorry to see that.
I 've seen something similar with a 2016 reissue. Less visible as there is no coloured stain but it resulted in a gloss blemish.

Don’t worry, after 50 years it will look much worse but it will even sound better
