hmm… the new FW and the editor are all over the news, and on the Moog Website as well, but with a date of December 25th, 2025… And the downloads are not available on the page.

The latest firmware I see under that link is 1.0.8 - nothing about 1.0.13.
(Is it just my browser?.. did try to refresh)
It’s all a bit confusing. There is a 1.10 update available, not 1.13. Not sure if 1.10 includes the duophony mode. There are no release notes and no mention in the latest manual. Anyone know how you set it to duophobic mode?
From what I recall seeing in a video, you have to long press (approx. 2 seconds) the osc sync button.

Any idea how the new assignable modwheel feature works?
Moog got me with the combo of the update and bf deal. The messenger feels like a ‘greatest hits’ of what i liked about each of my previous moogs (gma, subsequent 37, matriarch). In a nutshell, that means having presets, immediacy, no menu diving, simplicity/depth balance, not too attention commanding, having a software editor, and of course a fat analog moog sound. I’m obvi in the honey moon phase still but I’m impressed so far, even having owned some of the more expensive models

Hold the AMP button above the modwheel for approximatively 2 seconds to enter the modwheel assign mode. Turn the parameter knob you want to control with the MW. You can set the modulation amount by turning the parameter knob to the desired amount, or by selecting the amount on the 1-16 buttons above the keyboard (8 being the center, so zero modulation, go towards 1 for négative modulation or towards 16 for positive modulation), or by turning the tempo knob. When you’re done, push the AMP button again to exit (just briefly, no need to hold), and now the MW should react accordingly.

I am so happy. That modwheel assign was my biggest ask on this synth. Now it’s pretty much a perfect synth but of course I’m looking forward to any future updates they might add.
Out of interest, what params are you most wanting assigning to the mod wheel?
Speaking of “week”, what say you after several days? Considering your collection and experience, I’m very interested in your take. Also, if you’ve used it with Live 3 either way. I’m particular interested in if it sounds moog enough. Also, can you run Live 3 through it to get some moogy analogue color.

Actually, I haven’t had a chance to try it yet. I’ve been super busy with a minor studio rearrangement. Hopefully I’ll be able to have a play with it in the next day or two.
This is why I always appreciated my editors…
