I already kicked the tires.
The interface is hugely improved over the previous version.
One of my biggest grievances with the old version is that I felt it was too hard to get to scales. (even though it’s not that hard). They fixed this by putting the scales button right in front.
If I didn’t have a 
load of work today I could see myself playing with it for quite some time.
shame is, they want to be paid for this one! 
(all the “advanced” features are behind pay wall). But, 10 bucks/quid is fair.

Bought it, love it! I very much loved the original. It had some limitations I wish were improved upon but so does everything I love.
With that said, the new Animoog is quite better. The visuals alone are astounding!
You used to have to hack into your iPad to add sounds, which I did back in the day but it was obviously a bit of a pain.
Easy import is definitely worth the $10, all the extra stuff is just icing.

overwhelmingly prefer the look of the orginal version, but very much like the feature improvements… really love this instrument
