Just a little tip for those Stateside: if you need cables or other accessories, take a look at Monoprice.com. I’ve got no affiliation with the company, other than being an impressed customer. I’ve probably purchased close to 150-200 cables from them in the last two years, as well as some other accessories. The prices are unbeatable, and the quality is excellent-you could probably beat a man to death with one of their cables. Their cables have a lifetime warranty (they are currently sending me a replacement cable free of charge for one I purchased in 2013 that has gone bad, one of the only two I’ve purchased from them that has had any issues), and everything else has at least a 1 year warranty. Shipping is also cheap and quick; I live in their next day delivery zone, so if I order before 2pm on a Tuesday, I have my items by the next morning.
Like I said, I’ve got no affiliation with them, but want to mention them if you don’t already know. It cost me about $100 to recable my studio once I started adding in patchbays, and I would have easily spent 3x+ that if I’d purchased cables elsewhere. I’ve also picked up some other useful things, like a couple of their surge protectors with adjustable inputs, which are great for dealing with wall warts.
