Monomachine Track 1 different when connected

Hi guys,

My machinedrum and monomachine are connected via midi cable.
No matter who’s master or slave, ‘Track 1’ on the monomachine has a life of its own …
(… sounds are different and weird and when I change the parameters of Track 1 it does not effect its sound)

Once I disconnect the midi cable, the monomachine ‘Track 1’ works just fine.

I’m quite new to this. Could you please help me finding the right settings:

  • the machinedrum is the master
  • the Monomachine the slave
  • no changes of the parameters etc.

Maybe there’s a tutorial for noobs like me …

Sounds like the internal tracks of MD are modulating the MNM. When I use these two together I set the MD base channel to something like 10 or 12 so channels 1-9 are just for the MNM. This can be changed in Global Settings btw.

There might also be the ability to change the sequencer and encoder midi output to INT only rather than also have it sent externally. I’m not in front of the MD right now to confirm that, but changing the base channel should remove any midi conflicts.
