Funny, I wouldn’t have seen this article if you didn’t mention it here, but Big Mama has been on the rotation the last month and the moment I heard some parts of it, I thought instantly of Md/MnM. I didn’t think he actually used them, I just thought it was the kind of crunchy craziness that those machines are great at. Well, no wonder 
Yeah I do like the EP. I just wish it was longer and it feels a little unfinished but hopefully we will get a full LP soon.

For those who have the Digitone II, just how compatible is the Monomachine in your overall track composition?
I’m starting to see a few of these pop up on the market. And seeing how my of favorite artists have used both machines, it seemed fitting to ask. :).

Yes - sequenced and synthesized by the MnM.
Works great on the Saw- and DigiPro-Ens machines I am using on up to three tracks 
DNII x MnM
If you’re fond of MnM, I think you will absolutely love the DNII.
It can compliment MnM pretty well.
You may be lacking parameter slides, if you rely on them a lot.
But it has very convenient things to offer.

I love putting an FX track (on T6 as masterFX for example) and filter everything with a fast ARP (octave jump and and filter keytracking) and AMP env as a volume gate; besides adding delay, and chorus/compressor/otherFX.
I wish I could do the same with other Elektrons (Rytm, MD, octatrack almost does it but not exactly)
