Monitoring issue whilst input sampling

Im trying to sample audio from a Roland JUNO DS. I have a 1/4 audio cable going from the right output on the JUNO into input A of the OT. I am receiving the signal on the OT green lights flashing over Input A when I press a note on the JUNO.
However, I am not getting any sound out of monitors, even when I turn the DIR and GAIN up in the mixer, for inputs A+B.

Does anyone have any suggestions as to why this is occurring? In sampling tutorial videos, turning the DIR and GAIN in the Mixer causes the sound to become hearable, this isnt the case for this…

Thanks in advance for anybody who has a solution!

What have you set for your MAIN output level in the MIXER menu?

Do you have an active Scene? Make sure that you haven’t set XDIR to “MIN” in the MIXER menu.

Main output is +63 , Gain is +8, no change in sound if gain all the way up, recording light peaks however.
no active scenes - it is a completely empty project.

XDIR is set to MAX

New project > DIR=127 : should be hearable with headphones and main if the leds show signal activity.
If you changed things you don’t remember…try a new project.

Can you hear regular samples?
