Modulation tips and tricks

As the title sugggests, this is a topic for discussion about the various tips and tricks for the modulation sources (the LFO’s and the assignable envelopes) of the Analog Four.

I don’t have much to contribute yet, as I’ve only had the A4 for a week and a half now and I’ve only used the LFO’s for fairly mundane duties like slowly modulating the cut-offs or panning and I haven’t even touched the 2nd envelope yet.

So, feel free to share your tips and tricks! It’d be particularly interesting to hear about unconventional (ie. stuff many synths are incapable of doing) modulations that still produce musical and pleasing results.

I’ve had my A4 for two days now and took your posting as an incentive to at least check out LFO2

I am a sucker for modulating one LFO with another, and oh boy, was I in for a surprise: Speed, Multiplier, Fade, Start Phase and Depth A/B of LFO1 can be modulated by LFO2! :astonished:

That alone will keep me busy for the foreseeable future. You all let me know about ENVs…
