Hi,
I’d like to use my Model:Samples as a controller for Ableton Drum Rack.
I’d like the Model:Samples to show which sound(note essentially) is being played in the Drum Rack by lighting the Track LEDs.
At the same time I’d like to be able to hit the Traxk buttons to send midi to Ableton for recording and live performance with the Drum Rack sounds.
For this I could theoretically send MIDI notes from Ableton clip to Samples and MIDI out from Samples back to Ableton…
However this might create a MIDI feedback loop.
Instead, I’d like to send the note data from Ableton but for Samples to only light up the Track LEDs and send MIDI data back to Ableton only if Track buttons are triggered manually or if I input the notes into Samples sequencer.
Is this possible?
