Model Cycles transmit midi data with Logic x

Hi Nauties,

I’m experimenting using Cycles as a midi sound module rather than using its internal sequencer.
Is it possible to record midi data performances into Logic ? does it transmit for example shape and colour tweaks as recordable data ?

Yes, but only if you have the right settings. Each track must have ‘Mout’ ticked and also in settings you have a midi section in the menus, and in there you’ll need to ensure the encoders are sending data, I think the setting will something like ENC: out, or ENC: on. There’s an appendix in the manual that tells you the CCs for each encoder.
