I always kinda liked that body count stuff. I mean I wasn’t bumpin the album, but I wouldn’t turn if off if you put it on right now.

I like some of his tracks quite a bit, probably the most popular ones because I was a child when all that stuff came out. Sadly, most things after “Play” do feel pretty forced and things lack a certain spark. But, who wouldn’t try to get back to that place if it worked so well before? These 500 tracks are probably his legacy and he wants people to listen to his music and I get that. I also upload all my stuff, which is certainly not perfect. You only become known for high quality if you give away like 0.05% of your output but that’s not 100% you, only a glimpse.
Anyway, he might be kind of strange here and there and made mistakes but, come on, he’s a pretty decent human overall!

I don’t care one way or the other about Moby, he’s a bit before my time as I didn’t get into electronic music until the late 2000s. I just think it’s cool that he’s putting out a shit load of stuff for people to use for free.

I didn’t listen lot of moby, that never been my sound.
But i’m the kind of person that appreciate the copyleft side of the creation.
So… i don’t share lot of the things i read in this thread.
I understand that lot of people that are not in music but have to find easy to use sounds could make cool things with that.
Don’t care if moby was or was not cool guy. A man that refuse animal suffering and animal trade is on the right way, imho.
