I’ve been having some trouble with my gear, and I think I’ve narrowed the problem down to my Monomachine.
I’m using the Monomachine as my main sequencer, with a number of synths daisychained together. I’ve been experiencing weird problems with the other gear where sometimes they work just fine, and other times they make absolutely no sound. After messing around with this for a bit, I’ve discovered that my other synths only experience this issue when the Monomachine is turned on at the same time or after the other units. It seems there is a power spike coming across the MIDI output at boot and it is having a negative impact on my other gear.
Is this normal? Is there any way to prevent this from happening? Just turn it on first?
