i’ve got a few patterns scattered across a few snaps and i’d like to consolidate them without using c6. however i’m having trouble using my usual method that has always worked fine on md.
of course i know data xfer is easily possible with c6, but i’m away from my computer and in any case would like to know if what i want is possible, if i’m forgetting something, etc.
so, method: enter snap, copy a pattern, change to target snap, paste pattern. (if necessary, save snap, rinse repeat.)
as i say, this works on md just fine … pattern, kit, track assignments, lfo settings, all get copied and pasted. of course you can only do one pattern at a time so it’s tedious if you have a dozen patterns in different snaps, but patience will get you there.
on mnm however, it appears that instead, all that gets copied are trigs and plocks. the kit’s machines, however, have all become Gnd-Sin with lfos zeroed out.
super copy only offers machine, melody, track and pattern, so i assume pattern is the only option there ; copying / pasting the kit from the kit menu doesn’t help.
me miss something, me gotta change parameter somewhere, me s.o.l.?
