1. Pair a MM with a Midi capable Analog synth and you are good to go.
    (Mopho, Bass Station, Moogs)

  2. 6 MM synths and up to 6 external Midi devices … Synths samplers whatever you own and each has its own Midi track. This is more than I need to have a good time. For example I can use 2 MM tracks for drums 4 for synth sounds fx, drones or leads. Then on the external Midi tracks.
I can have a sampler a few Mono synths a Blofeld for pads. you get the picture. I think only the OT can do that but but instead of internal Synth you have samples.

3)I don’t use the input thru tracks often but had a great time mangling a loop once and it sounded great. I think its 24 bit converters on the Mk II so it should sound great. Yes it uses one track, called the Thru machine.

  1. I feel the MM is Timeless if you want to work out of the box
it’s a real great SEQ and really hands on. Just keep the manual on the bedside and read a bit every so often.

Anyhow I love the MonoMachine and would love to have all the Elektron Gear. But for me The MM works best to control ,my setup.

Depends on your setup and work flow.
