MM meets volca (bass) solved

hi guys… I am trying to sequence the volca bass via the mm … the midi channels seem not to work, only the normal track one, which must be set to midi channel 1 works …

has anybody tried?

edit: fuck yeah, I got the ARP to work! … but only through track 1, not via a designated midi track …

EDIT : found the MIDI CHANNEL SETTINGS !

You mean midi track one on your MM?

I’m able to sequence my Volca Sample with my MM.

Global edit - Control Menu - Control Out1 - SequenceR: Int+Out

Global edit -Midi Chanls - Base Channel: 01 and Channel Span:06.
^All other fields set to –

You’re welcome.
Yea, the Volcas are a lot of fun with an Elektron sequencer feeding it notes. Don’t forget, the Volcas respond to CC. So you can assign 4 of those Volca Bass parameters to each midi track of the MM. Start p-locking your pitch and envelope generator, and get in on those MM LFOs too!!

Thanks to the midi capabilities of both machines, I basically look at the Volca Sample as a cheap 6-voice sampler add on for my MonoMachine
For further sonic incest I have some thunderous Analog Four kicks sampled into the Volca Sample. My Rytm’s like “c’mon over here!!!”
Fortunately for my Rytm, the Volca Sample does not respond to program change.

from manual: the MM does not offer trig tracks …look at this … I thought the MM was a midi kontrol keyboard (keyboardless versio I have )

then why da fuq can I input trigs into the sequencer and use a ARP ? jeee confusing…
