Mk2 knobs + Dist + Sample browsing behavior

Hi guys, 3 questions in one:

Just got my Mk2 (OS 1.45 B) Comparing with Mk1 I found the knobs behavior quite surprising: when turning them too fast, ex from 0 to 127, the value range on the display jumps in a weird way; say just from 15 to 64. By rotating them slower they respond better.

Distortion: the “Sym” parameter, after say 40%, starts to gate-effect the output more than distort it. Is it the way it sounds on Mk2?.. was more smoother and hairy on Mk1

Sample browsing: ssssllllloooowwwww

Anyone experimenting the same? some ideas? Thanks and good starting week

RE: the second point – reduce your output level (either make-up gain or compressor volume will work) to mitigate the gating when increasing asymmetry.

thanks, will check that… left my rytm in the office. Still the knob behavior is kind of stressing me, reminds me my prophet 08 with those rotary encoders going crazy; problem solved with a potenciometer edition kit and 250 dollars :upside_down_face:
