MK1 Machinedrum - wooden sides?

Hey all,

New member here. Just wondering if there is such a thing as wooden side panels available for MK1 MD?

I’ve searched online and on the forum and not seen much. Guessing it’s just the form/screwholes that are missing? Happy to be proved wrong though.

All being well I should be picking up Wintermute’s UW this week, looking forward to getting stuck in. I’m releasing my debut album very shortly and hoping to start DJing with the MD side by side for some support dates.

I don’t know about commercially available wooden sides, but they are VERY easy to do by yourself. Just cut 2 wooden boards the size you want, drill 2 little holes with a Dremel for the screws and you’re set !
You’ll need 4 M3 screws, sized the width of your wood cheeks + 3-4mm.
