Yes… I use the Isotope Production Suite, Ozone, Neutron and others of the suite … IMO handling and sound are pro-level, the various templates are nice, but I recommend to learn mixing basics and get experienced.
That’s only one part of the mixing process, frequency range definition (filters), dynamics, frequency dependent filters/compression tools are as important as well.
IMO a good sound mix is not depending on genre. There are different genre specific preferences, but the basics are always the same. With pro-mixing/mastering tools like Isotope’s you can achieve pro-results if you know your tools.
At the end you have to trust your preferences and your ears.
BTW Isotope is offering “Insight” and “Tonal Balance Control”, which help to compare and fit to genre specific standards.
