Quick update.

The MegaCommand manufacturing run is about 70% complete. 2-3 more days of work ahead of me, i’m on track to have them ready by the end of this month.

I’ve also just finished the complete refactor of the MCL code. This was a huge undertaking as I had to re-organise 7-8,000 lines of code in to individual libraries.
But the end result is well worth it. The code is now easily adaptable, reusable, extendable and more importantly readable.

New features should come much faster.

One quick addition has been the requested polyphonic mode for the MD chromatic page.

Attention MegaCommand owners:

I’ve merged in all the new MCL code in to MIDICtrl20.
It’s a complete re-write from the ground up.

The repo below is now the only repository required for MegaCommandLive.

Project files will not be compatible between 2.11 and 2.14.

I’ve updated the Design repo with the latest 1.0.12 gerbers and design files.
BOM has been updated for 1.0.12 (no mouser cart but the part numbers are listed in the BOM)

I hope it will arrived until the weekend

Thank you

A few users have asked what power supply to use:

Same adaptor specs as the Arduino. The power jack on the MegaCommand will provide power to the entire system.

https://playground.arduino.cc/Learning/WhatAdapter

Also please read the MCL manual before using with your MD.

Just received my MegaCommand - beautiful work Justin. Can’t wait to get to work with this thing. Any case designs out there? I’d love to get an acrylic case designed similiar to my Shruthi’s.

These look really nice, and oh the possibilities! Thanks for all the hard work man.

Will hopefully be ordering one soon.

By any chance would you have a use for a Akai MPK25?

Keep your MPK25 and use it to play the MD polyphonically through the MegaCommand.

@JustinValer

EDIT: Sorry, got it working, i just had to copy the sdfat-lib to the folder sdfat in the megacommand folder…

Hey Justin, i cant compile the new Firmware, i got this error, any advise?

Thanks Mon.

I’ve fixed the issue. Seems like local my git repo was failing silently and not showing those files as missing.

Hello. This looks promising.

Are there any pcb’s available for this project? In Europe / UK would be good.

Thanks

At the moment
