Miles Cosmo // Monomachine & Machinedrum Live Set

Here’s something I prepared earlier…

Fantastic liveset you have here.

I’m curious though, do you use program changes between the mnm and mm? That is, when you select a pattern on one, does the other follow?

Thanks for sharing and keep it up!

Dammit, milescosmo. Thanks for making me want another Monomachine!

Oh, and great set. Very good highlights of the Monomachine’s softer side.

Thanks guys. I’m not using program changes I’m just changing patterns on the fly. The MD is midi slaved to the MM and the outputs are going through the Mono’s inputs, using track 6 as the thru with a compressor on it. Thanks for watching

Edit: worth pointing out that I’ve only had these two boxes for about 5 months. Also, I’ll be posting a longer live set video using the Octatrack, A4, and a Kaoss Pad very soon…

You already have one and you want another? Why?

I had one. Twice. Now I have zero of them.

You should rectify that, there’s nothing quite like the Mono

Really nice! I love all the glitch sounds of the beats, the melodic parts, and the fact that is not in 120bpm

All the beats come from the MD? Or you add some extra beats/processing with the MnM?

15:00 is so good  I love the transition! Great work with the synths just after. Is that the arp or programming?

There’s only one song that has a beat from the Mono layered with the rest of the beats which are all the MD. The MD is running through the Mono’s compressor. I also did a mastering job on the audio recording so it’s a little punchier. Other than that it’s just the two units.

I think there’s only one arp in the whole set and it isn’t in this track, everything else is programmed in. Thanks for watching
