cant seem to find where i can adjust this, so velocity does not affect amplitude when played from external keyboard.
i have not succeded with inputting notes on the a4 seq with the keyboard either btw.

you set the velocity destinations in the sound setting page - Fn + Any sound Parameter button (OSC1>LFO) scroll down
there’s lots of tips about getting midi right on the forums, but have a deep look at all the midi options in Fn+Global - it works, so hang in there !

regarding a topic i posted in mnm, is it a good idea to connect to elektron boxes in a midi loop, ie a4 into ot, and ot back, having ot as master. i get parameters jumping all around from this…

that should work from external midi?
poly will work externally: whilst i would suggest reading the manual is a good step, nothing beats experimenting with every single setting, the forum is really worth reading through, that’s probably more informative than the manual
keep it simple - use the mini keys, sort out the poly, then bring in other gear
i’d learn the gear without having it all hooked up - creates all kinds of havoc, i get the same here with just an OT and A4, to learn the OT i’m just leaving the A4 aside to avoid all these potential hiccups, particularly when getting up to speed
when u r in poly config page pay attention to trigs 1>4 !
