MIDI thru port on A4?

hi guys…
I would like to use OT to change patterns on A4 and send program change to DSI poly Evolver
I did this connection:
octatrack MIDI out -> A4 MIDI in
(Used to change patterns on A4 and tweak some parameters)
A4 MIDI thru -> DSI poly Evolver
(Meant to change sounds on poly evolver through program change programmed on octatrack)
But nothing happens on poly Evolver.
Is it possibile to do this? Is there any workaround!?

If not… How do you use the MIDI thru port on your A4?

I have OT >A4>Tetra>Monomachine all chained from the OT out using thru. Works fine here. Bank changes are difficult with dsi stuff though. Have you got your midi channels set correctly.

I think MIDI Channels are set OK, given that if i plug OT directly to poly Evolver, program change works.(i Know that changing bank is a bit problematic)
So i guess i’m missing something in the A4 global midi settings?
Could you please tell me how did you set it? Thanks a lot

EDIT: I’m starting to think that the midi thru port of my A4 is f*ked up…
