Midi sync with Poly D? [digitakt]

Hi guys, it’s me gl00mie.

Digitakt syncs easy with Subharmonicon & Crave - the Poly D is being a fussy and I wish it had the same kind of ease the Crave had. Any advice? Recently dunked stacks to built my studio recently, still learning about the troubleshooting process.

I’ve seen some threads on this but nothing conclusive and have tried a few methods but no luck. I just want it to run the sequencer when I hit play from the Digitakt, so Poly D receives Midi In data

If you want to use the sequencer of the poly D then make sure your DT transport send is on
p63 in the manual

Thanks, I believe I had clock send and transport send on, I’ll try this soon! ty

Ok then we have to check other MIDI settings
If you can give the MIDI settings off both machines, then we can have a better understanding why it isn’t working.
Thx

Played with it a little bit tonight - no luck. Will do a short example video of the problem - tried some settings on the Digitakt and enabled it similar to how I enabled the Subharmonicon and Crave. I’ll reply to this on Friday! I appreciate the help Kenneth, this has been a weird issue.

I looked up the Poly D manual and it doesn’t really say anything specific, unlike the Crave where you enable it and it’s easy.

Downloaded Behringer Synthtool - may have to adjust the midi settings in there!

yep you will need this to adjust the midi settings of your Poly D

I think that can only be done using Synthtool, which I’ll be testing out tomorrow, hopefully it goes well!

It should be really easy. In the synthtool app there is an option to turn sequencer start/stop on or of. Just a check box. That’s the case for other B synths with the built in sequencer.

Thanks Bunker, gonna try now, I’d really love to make sure everything I have can be midi sync, next device to test is the ELZ-1 using a Brenton USB host box
