Midi seqencing external gear

so, I can press a key on the A4 and a sound comes out of my Base Station II … I can play a sequence on the CV track via CV out, to my SH101.

But the A4 cannot sequence external gear via the Track channel, via Midi, or via the CV channel, via Midi =?

trying to sequence the BSII through Track 1 …

monomachine did this very elagant yesterday night.

Am I missing something, or is this the “no midi” issue with the A4 ?

Now you must be missing something! Post details (settings, channels etc) in the MM area of the forum and we can try to help you.

I think the BSII should transmit on midi channel 9 for its notes to register in the step sequencer or record
