MIDI recorded live in the Chromatic mode is 2 octaves lower when played back [SOLVED]

I’m on MIDI A assigned as Channel 1. If I’m playing chromatic mode and decide to record it, I hit Live Record and enter some notes. When it plays them back, the notes are consistently 2 octaves lower than what I’m playing.

Going to the TRIG page, setting the note (A) to G10 or G0 or C5 makes no difference. Setting OCT+/OCT- to something else doesn’t change much, the notes still play 2 octaves lower. Cleared track setting and trigs and power cycled. Either I found a bug or I’m completely missing something.

Have you tried to reproduce this behavior in a completely new project?

Fiddled with it some more, and it was user error. I had set Note 2 to be -24 or whatever and my 0-Coast treated that as the most recent MIDI note. :tired_face:

Yeah you can use that for transpose!
