I’ m interested i an Octatrack but i allso want to use it for sequencing other synth’s . Is it possibble to record parameter changes for external instruments as in a daw . so i can record the movements of encoders of the sequenced synth’s. ? and is it possible to parameter-lock external parameters. ( and if so - how many per track ? )
I’m using a A4 + AkK right now and i want tu use a few modules who don’t have a cv - in.
Can someone tell me about his expériences ?

You can find this out in the manual page 116. You get 8 tracks, each can have a different midi channel. Each track can have 10 midi cc # + Pitch Bend and Aftertouch.

Yes, but just want to add to make it clear: it isn´t as an MIDI file (as you would be able to record in a DAW). So it isn´t possible to import an MIDI file into the Octatrack, nor will the recorded parameter changes be available to export into a DAW.
