I have an issue with a midi track from the OT sequencing a synth app on an iPad (Shockwave).
The midi channel is 10 and the program i want to use is the 26.
If i set it manually it’s ok but as soon as i restart the sequencer on the OT it changes program to 48 (on the synth not on the OT) on pattern 1 and 49 on pattern 2.
I don’t understand what happens and how to control the program change. Is the OT sending extras CC’s somehow?
When you set the CC number on the OT, you have to push the Encoder or press Yes to accept the change you’ve maid.
Are you using patterns D01 and D02 on the OT?
The most likely cause for your confusion is that you have activated Program Change Send in the OT’s Project menus, so that it sends a Program Change message every time it goes to a new pattern.
Indeed i am on D01 and D02 but the others synths behave normally.
I had Program change activated but i thought it was necessary to send a program change when i change Part. I did not know it was possible to change program when changing pattern, i shall try tomorrow with that option deselected.
I unchecked the Send Prog Change and at least it doesn’t change between patterns.
But as soon as i press 2x stop it’s a mess with that synth.
I guess it sends a CC setting that particular synth in panic.
If i activate another midi track while playing it’s also playing that last track…
Bad Midi implementation? I already had issues with another app from the same editor…
