The midi out from Digitakt will not trigger my Minilogue clock to start running. The midi thru does this fine though. Why isn’t the midi out triggering the other machine to start?
Without any other information about your setup it’s difficult to make a diagnosis, but you should ensure the following:
Connect a functioning MIDI cable from the MIDI Out port of the DT to the MIDI In port of the Minilogue.
On the DT, in the SETTINGS > MIDI CONFIG menu:
set PORT CONFIG > OUT PORT FUNC to “MIDI”,
set PORT CONFIG > OUTPUT TO to “MIDI”, and
activate SYNC > CLOCK SEND.
On the Minilogue in the GLOBAL Edit page 4:
set Clock Source to “Auto (MIDI)”,
set Enable Rx MIDI to “On”,
set MIDI Route to “USB+MIDI”.
