Midi out to in, CC21 problem

Hello Elektronauts :musical_score:

I’m trying to play the retrigger chromatically @130 bpm and it’s working and really fun, the octatrack is in itself a synth…

But I have a little prob,

Using a midi converter, I send notes to sample track 1 from midi track 1, notes are converted to midi CC 21 (reversed) which play the RTIM accordingly to pressed key.
CC21 is the CC21 of RTIM and in the same time the CC21 of midi Note 3.
The problem I have is this one : When I play and live record notes in the midi track sequencer, I Note 3 (CC21) receive the same CC21 value that sample track receive… So it add some note 3 values which is not desirable at all.

Is this normal ?
It seem to only happen on the same midi/sample track = sample track 1/ midi Track 1 etc. But the problem is that I cannot really change my setup.
Is this “feedback” normal ?

:thinking: Didn’t I already answer to you about this?
Theoretically CC DIRECT CONNECT should be set to ON to avoid NOTE 3 variation.

I guess you just need to send CC21 with midi loopback to reproduce it?

CC 21 is allready sent to the two tracks, the playing track and the sample track…
But only if I use the same track placement…
Pretty annoying in fact.
