does the dtone send out midi data when pressing the random key combo?
could I randomize eg a4 with that via midi?

you just can randomize a parameter page of the digitone and it’s huge enough

would be a nice feature to have but there would be somewhat of a difference in terms of MIDI CCs which would probably be assigned to different parameters depending on the machine/s…nonetheless, it could still do something…i’d rather use something dedicated in that sense, maybe something like this? 
…you should be able to check if that happens with a MIDI monitor, it would tell whether or not the DN is sending out MIDI CC when randomizing
