Midi master, slave through overbridge?

I’m new to using elektron devices. Just wondering about setting up an AR & A4 combo (mk 2’s) using usb & overbridge.
Can I setup midi in overbridge so that one is master and one is slave, or do I need to use a midi cable to connect them for that?

…also, is there is any way to set it up so that the bpm from my AR tells ableton what to set it’s bpm to instead of the other way around? Can I make the AR the boss of ableton & the A4?
