MIDI issues, backup issues, manual issues... even logging on elektron.se issues!

First. Midi channel on sequencer with right midi ch for particular device.
2 devices ARP and VOLCA (tried with Prophet REV2 too). midi out to midi splitter and from splitter to synths. And when i press the button i can hear right synth on right channel but when i record sequence nothing is playing or sometimes both are playing the same sequence or one from ch 16 plays sequence for ch 1. Tried with another tracks, chanels, cables synths… When i used the same splitter to check if fed with signal from Ableton and midi out from interface it worked as expected so the spliter seems to be ok.

Second.
I avoid this part about conecting so C6 set to recieve and Digitakt (seen by computer both in/out midi directions) set to send Sysex. DT blinks like sending but C6 does not recieving though onscreen info declares it does. So DT finishes sending and C6 got notning… No backup! Sorry

Third.
Factory reset vs empty reset.
Which should i use to keep my libraries. Cuz in manual it is not decsribed clearly. Anyways. I wanted - to cope with the first issue - reset my DT. But i can’t do that without backup my Sysex. Don’t care bout samples cuz i have it stored on HD.

And Fourth… Maybe even funny.
I have wrong mail adress in my account on elektron.se
It is not the one i’m using the most at the moment. I tried to change it but when i type new one and confirmed the green stripe appeard and info that datas 've been changed. But adress was still the same as before. OK! I wrote 'bout it to support. The guy from them changed it for me. And i try to log-in and the new adress is not workin. So i logged with an old one (pissed that the guy lied to me) and surprise! He actually did and there is a proper one. But it changes nothing because i must loggin with an old one and get notifications as well. So…

And - sorry if You’e read since this i’d like to point out my high appreciation - as i noticed there are few similar posts on this forum describing issues like mine. But i did not seen even one time - or correct me if i’m wrong - post like: Hi I’m Peter/Joe/Morten/Younameit from Elektron. We know bout this and we work hard to fix it and next firmware will solve this problems.

Have you sometimes muted some of the MIDI sequencer tracks?

Which OS version are you using on the Digitakt?

Did you save the backup file to your computer after C6 received it?

What do you mean by “libraries”? Do you mean your patterns and/or Sounds, or your Projects on the +Drive?
Empty Reset deletes patterns and Sounds; Factory Reset deletes all Projects.

Only Elektron support can fix that for you. There’s nothing that any of us can do about it.

You are wrong. There are many examples of Elektron staff discussing issues on the forum. But the primary method for dealing with a particular issue is by making a support ticket on Elektron’s website.

Yes i muted midi trakcks. But i can unmuted it so this is not an issue.
I’m using the newest firmwarmware 1.3
I didn’t save files recieved by C6 because no files had come. As i mentioned DT stopped blinking SENDING after a while (5-10 minutes maybe) and on C6 "files recieved’ stayed 0 Kb.
Libraries - samples, sound, projects. Ok. One is for sure that i cannot make any of reset untill i make backups. Thanks for explaining.

I know that only Elektron guys can fix it but due to rather quite a lot problems i experience i’am really pissed off and wanted to share it bacause i find it ridiculous… Sorry.
If people from Elektro are folow this forum and react i apreciate. I wrote to support too. And waiting for the answer. But before when i asked them why in ableton i have blasc gui when in reaper it is working fine but first of all why the heck transfer freezes my computer when i’m getting samples from my DT to computer they replied (in maybe one phrase) that this is the graphic issue (say whaaat???) and did not replied on my futher questions. Not to mentionthat comparing to really well designed device there are issues which seems like designed by completely “against-user” developers… (C6??? When there are transfer???, not supporting elk-herd and even make it unusable with a new firmware and not givin something instead. It was realy useful)
So i feel a little frustrated.
