MIDI Controlling Audio Track ?s

Hello good, helpful people.

AFAI can tell, the MIDI CCs can control the parameters of the active (red lit) audio track. Is the only way to select the active track via MIDI the “active track up and down” message? Is there a way to choose the active track via MIDI audio (ie toggle = track 1 another toggle = or 2, ect)?

I want to use my OT with my BCR in a kind of interactive art exhibit however I don’t want people to have to touch the OT.

Thanks in advance!!!

Can you just use the regular track channels instead of the auto channel?

Yeah, maybe I missed something: do the audio tracks have their own MIDI channel? So if I send CC46 to Channel (x) if will control track level of audio track (x)?

Oh man totally missed it. Brilliant. Audio T1 is MIDI channel 1, Audio T2 is MIDI channel 2 and so on? (So I understand MIDI in manuals in the future, where is this exactly in the manual? Or is it just assumed?)

Pg. 43, MIDI menu, “channels”… and pg. 111, “How MIDI is Routed”…
