Midi clock Digitakt II to Ableton Live 12 unstable

Hello, I would like to synchronise Ableton Live 12 with the Digitakt 2. The signal is unstable at the start of playback, for example for a BPM of 93 on the DG, Ableton Live switches to 80 then 100 then 85 then 99, etc and finally stabilises at 93. I’m on a Mac M3, with the DG plugged directly into USB (no hub). I have no problem with the DG OG that I also have, the signal is stable.

Has anyone ever had this problem and resolved it? I’ve sent a message to support, I’ll put in a solution here if they give me one.

I tried sending clock to Live in the past from rytm or digitone, it was never stable, especially over usb, it was somewhat stable when sending from my audio interface, I think it’s because it has a dedicated OS driver, but in general sending clock into Live always was jittery.

have you tried making Live 12 the master and DT2 the slave?
usually DAW should be the master

what is the best way to sync ( tempo ) digitakt 2 to ableton live ?

The most accurate sync would be with something like an erm multiclock or expert sleepers setup or similar

Hello. Here is my way of doing it and it works very well.
First, Digitakt II, Digitone II and live ableton have the same tempo setting.
The Digitakt is master clock, it sends the clock in usb to Ableton and the program changes in MIDI to the Digitone II. The Digitakt receives the transport via Ableton.
Ableton receives the clock but sends the transport.
With this procedure, everything works very well but the tempos of the three machines must be manually set.
