MIDI CC Mapping via learn and GUI update in OS 1.40

Hello All,
Is there a known issue with bi-directional MIDI mapping in OS 1.40? - Specifically, I have got mapping set up between synth & OT by manually mapping, but cannot get MIDI learn to work or, when mapped manually, cannot get OT UI GUI knobs to update when the synth knob is moved.
Everything works in both directions in terms of MIDI data, it’s just that the knob graphic in the OT MIDI page no longer moves when I move the mapped hardware controller, and I had to set it up manually as I couldn’t get learn working.

Any suggestions greatly appreciated,

Start my listing what gear you’re using, and what MIDI connections you have made.

Then list what MIDI channel numbers you have assigned to the OT’s audio tracks, and what MIDI channel numbers you have assigned to the OT’s MIDI tracks.
