MIDI Auto Channel won't work

I’ve wasted most of a day trying to troubleshoot this. If anyone is able to help, please leave a comment here.

Using Digitakt via Overbridge on the USB connection, and if I set my NI Komplete Control 61 Mk2 to MIDI channel 1 it will play the sound associated with that track, same through to MIDI channel 8. If I try to use Auto Channel to play the currently selected track, I get no sound at all. Have tried using channels 10, 14 & 16 for Auto Channel, I get nothing.

I’ve made sure the keyboard is transmitting on the correct channel to match the Auto Channel setting (checked via MIDI Monitor software) but I get nothing from the Digitakt. I can only play via the keyboard if setting to the individual MIDI channels 1-8.

This is the case both on stand-alone Overbridge or using the Overbridge plugin within Ableton. Very frustrating.

Afraid not. To be honest I haven’t tried it again since.

There must be a different issue. I’ve no problems with Auto Channel using a Keystep 37 to trigger chromatic sounds on the DT.
