Microtiming a track

Yeah, it seems like a good feature to add in an update—just be able to push the whole track forward or back, like in a DAW.

I think so … I am fairly new to all this but I have an update list … like why can’t I map LFOs to note data? Would be amazing to try moving accents or note length etc. surely that is possible…?

Obligatory “octatrack can do that” comment, but only for midi tracks :P.

I, too, would like this on the A4.

Are you on the MKII?
You can apply Swing to a specific track:

  1. Open the Swing menu.
  2. Apply the swing you want.
  3. While the swing menu is still open, go to the track/s you don’t want to swing, and turn off the red trigs. this will remove the swing from these trigs and you’ll end up with dim orange colored trigs.
  4. You can also engage/disengage the swing for individual trigs in that way and get an uneven feel.
