Sometimes MacOs needs a reboot, I think the issue exists in Linux too.

So great to get an update based off ideas from the thread so quickly! Iā€™ve been loving mm2 since I got it. Been exploring making more lofi sounding patches lately. I swear it can get a kind Akai s950 lofi warm sound to it with a bit of white noise, drive, subtle fm filter. Iā€™m finding it has just the right level of depth for me to create complex patches (by my standard) without getting lost in the process.

A few patches Iā€™ve made and liked (but played really badly for demo)

I wish I implemented this before honestly, the alt button was under utilized. Now it feels like a solid and helpful feature.

@elektrosamplist Would it be possible to add another QoL improvement related to the Alt button?

I think it would be convenient if:

When:

  • The user is on the OSC1 page, and
  • OSC1 is in one of the FM-capable modes(carrier),

Then:

  • Pressing the Alt button opens the OSC3(modulator) page, instead of MIX page.

Unfortunately, this didnā€™t come to my mind earlier.

How are people using the bi-timbral feature on this? Are you going bass/lead, lead/pad, pad/arp, something/other?

Either contrasting patches like bass/ lead, bass/pad and eq+ filter to keep them apart in the mix, or complimentary patches that exist in the same space like pads and wash them with reverb.

Usually the former tbh, as a single pad patch can be complex enough

I usually use combis, which I call up via program change from Tonverk or OP-XY.
