I like it a lot. Not sure which I’d rather have, if I had to choose one - the Tanzbär Lite or the Tanzmaus. The former has more analogue voices, but the latter has a really nice kick and crunchy samples, as well as a sample management tool.

P-locking works nicely and the little things like selectable transients on some of the voices and different pattern lengths. It’s quite confusing at first, not least because the play button is on a shift command (to help with live playing) and because the buttons are so titchy, but it’s engrossing and adorable. MFB were/are a company with a unique take on electronic instruments, you could tell they were made by and for one person really, Manfred Fricke. Few concessions were made for the public, these boxes are uncompromising in their vision.
