Can someone help here please.
I’m trying to send sysex from the mac to md via the AR and c6 on mac.
I’m also trying to use the old md max control software via the are USB midi over to the md.
Nothing so far is working, what would be the setting on the md and AR for this.

I don’t have an AR to check, but I believe that the AR does not pass MIDI messages from its USB-MIDI in to its DIN-MIDI Thru port. Is that what you’re trying to do?

So nothing works here not even the thru?
Again, I can’t 100 % confirm it personally but I believe you will need an actual MIDI interface somewhere in the chain in order to connect the MD to the Mac. I don’t think there’s any way that the AR can perform that function.
No USB > MIDI THRU, as per MIDI spec only MIDI IN > MIDI THRU.
