Attempting to sync Digitakt from Maschine. Maschine is master, Digitakt slave. The tempo is correct, but I can’t get these two to start together on the downbeat. We seem to be missing some kind of position pointer?
UPDATE, from Ableton Live the Digitakt syncs perfectly. Appears Maschine is missing start/stop sync.
I have Maschine as Master to MIDI slave my DT with no issue here.
Stupid question: have you set Maschine to MIDI master?
DT settings?
I found that the “PLAY” button on Maschine controller does not start playback on beat 1. It plays from where it last was stopped. Then I noticed the “RESTART/Loop” button above it. That works!
Not sure which controller you have but on Maschine Jam, Shift+Play restarts from the beginning
