Mapping Midi - Midi Learn - filter cutoff control etc

Hi !

I guess i’m really lost on this. I’ve been going through the menu and global menu on my A4 and can’t seem to find where to edit the midi mapping for controlling certain knobs etc…

I want to be able to assign specific Fader or Rotary knob to a specific parameter on my A4.

When i hook up my midi keyboard to Ableton Live and output the midi to A4 the knobs on my Midi controller are already mapped to parameters like reverb send… chorus etc…
How can i edit that?
Kind of like the “learn Midi” thing on iPad and DAW.

Hope someone can show some light

The assignments are fixed. Refer to the manual for the various CC numbers.
Note that for most parameters you can use CC or NRPN, your choice.

You didn’t tell us which MIDI controller you have.
Also, I don’t know Ableton Live, but you may be able to reassign controller numbers somewhere in Live.

Thanks for the help. So basically it’s already assign.
I am currently using Behringer UMX49 but was thinking of picking up something else. Maybe a Miditech i2-control 37keys or so…

so the manual should have the assignments…

That’s it i got it

Finally found how to edit my keyboard. Thanks a lot !!

Now i can control each parameter. a new world opened !
