Had my A4 mk1 for a month now and can’t figure out why several of the patches have gone silent in one of my projects. When I load a different project, everything is ok and I can audition and load sounds fine using both the built-in keyboard or an external midi keyboard.
However, in a recent project many of the sounds in the +drive and the pool have gone quiet. They don’t work when I audition or load them. There doesn’t seem to be any logic to which sounds are silent as it’s a fairly random distribution.
Also, just noticed - the sounds play from the sequencer trigs - just not the keyboard! Doubt it’s midi settings as it’s only happening with a subset of sounds.
Thanks for the reply. Unfortunately it’s the same through Overbridge and I can’t see anything out of the ordinary. Roughly half the sounds have gone silent.
As a shot in the dark, I also recalibrated but no luck.
I have no Mk1 anymore here. I would highly recommend to a) Backup all Data with C6.
b) Do a Clean reset
C) Try If the Problem ist there.
D) restore the backup into the A4
E) If the Problem still persist, contact the Support.
I would Imagine that along working with the A4 you changed a setting by mistake without noticing. One of the reasons why i Sold mine. Trying now MK2…
I’ve managed to figure it out! I just noticed that it was only happening in a certain kit. I had a look at the kit settings and it turns out that somehow the routing for voices 1 to 4 to main had been unchecked. I’m surprised this gave the result that I’d observed as many sounds were still working and the problem seemed to be sound specific and nothing to do with voices. I switched it back to ‘Use Global Setting’ and it now works.
