Major problem internal sampling. Just my OT?!

Definitely seems to be a bug here, but hoping to confirm if it’s just my machine… :frowning:

When sampling internally (using SRC3) all is fine if I use recorder trigs, but any form of MANUAL trigging records what at first looked like near silence but, when normalised, turned out to be my original source buried in a ton of nasty digital noise.

Again, just to be clear - all working fine with recorder trigs, but using the recorder buttons causes the problem.

There is no problem sampling from the inputs, only internal, and only with manual sampling.

Just tried going via CUE as I found a topic on here about internal sampling level problems, but I got the same digital garbage. The problem occurs with T1-8, MAIN and CUE.

Any help much appreciated!

Did you drop a record trigger in and un-assign the other sources?
By default source 3 records from input 1, input 2 and whatever you’ve set up as source 3.
Hold the record trigger down and press input 1 and 2 to de-activate the inputs.
Hope that helps.

Thanks for the suggestion musicmagus. Just tred that but got the same results when manual sampling.

no bug - you’re pressing the wrong button and recording the inputs - try SRC3 (i.e. MIDI button) !

yay! thanks avantronica!
