Made this song with Digitakt using no (!) external samples

Exploring Digitakt as self containing instrument. Only sound used here is from the sampled noise of the input channel with no signal. Enjoy!

Best thing I’ve heard from the DT.

thank you sir!

Thank you! From the first moments with Digitakt, the vibe was like ‘lets go to the Detroit techno heaven’ and I was like ‘naah, we can go there anytime but lets have some fun first’…

grab it while you can , hopefully they’ll fix it and we wont be able to sample garbage .

will do. But it’s not like there is anything really broken or needs to be fixed. I just really enjoy misusing the technology and I also work a lot with the noise.

I’m going to give this a try too, the input noise challenge

using just the short snippet of internal noise (i played it raw it at the end 4-5 times in a row).
was a fun exercise! came up with something strange for sure :joy:

not strange to me at all, despite that the tuning could have been better ( i see the reason why it is as is  )
you showed VERY nicely where today the soul of creative music making (can) lies.
this is Art !

those guitar tones who were not were just perfect.
please take all my respect.

Nice!

The wonky tuning is my favourite thing about it.

My wife’s reaction if I made something like this: “Why can’t you make something with a nice melody?”

Don’t you boys no any nice songs?
