SMP-ST references the samples that are stored in UW models ROM/(and just added a version that looks at any models’ E12). This is a sample playback machine with timestretching and grain/flux controls, not a synthesis machine. RAM-P and R aren’t working in the current version of X.20, but once they are, I will seek to make an NFX-style machine that works similarly on incoming audio (internal/external). If this kind of thing is possible (which it now seems likely), it will make playing audio from the buffer much easier and conceivably add a ton of possibilities for the MDUW to become an even more insane effects unit.
