Machinedrum SPS1 MK2 step 8, 16 and scale setup doesn't work

Hello,

I’ve buy a Machinedrum SPS1 MK2 from ebay and i have some problems with it.

The problem is the step 8 and 16 doesn’t work and the button scale setup too. Sometimes they work when i don’t play with the MD few hours, but as soon as i press on stop button and make a break, they don’t work anymore.

It’s weird cause at first i was thinking of a material problem (dust or something broken) but like i said, theses buttons works sometimes, so i don’t understand.

I send a message to Elektron to know if it’s reparaible and if they know the approximate price for this reparation, but i want to know if t’s not a problem of parameters.

Some of MD users can help me please ?

Salut. Same behavior in grid recording, other modes (mute, slide, swing…)?

Bad contact maybe. Unmount. Try contact bomb.

Salut,

Yes same comportement in theses modes.

I opened it and blown on it but it didn’t change anything.

You can’t return it?
I’m sure some people had similar problems.
Search here, with Monomachine too.
Do you know a tech that would solder the trig switches?

Yes i can return it. I googled the problem, i found nothing about this
