Is there a limit as to the size of an individual sample that can be loaded onto this thing?!
The total sample memory is 2.5 MB.
But why is it that when i attempt to upload a 4sec sample, it appears to upload but playback fades after 3secs? Yet it still displays 70% capacity used i.e. 30% is still vacant?
RAM-PLAY or ROM machine? If ROM machine, which number?
3 s at what tempo?
Presumably, you adjusted the Hold time for the MID machine on the trig?
Did you set a value for END on the trig?

I attempted to send it to the ROM machine position 32. It says 70% is used.
I don’t understand the tempo question as it is just a vocal sample. The SPS1/track’s tempo is 117bpm.
The sample start and end points are 0 & 127 respectively…
I’ve never got around to using the RAM machine but I figured to keep the sample on power down it’d have to be moved ROM anyway, so it not playing in full seemed pointless.
Edit It is a 6 sec sample but it still says 70% used Edit
Actually the HOLD was at 63, hence not all of the sample coming through. So I can close the case on that one…

My understanding is that the sample length is a maximum of 32 steps. So sample length really depends on tempo and memory availability.
